If your heart beat increases before attending an office meeting or you are always worried about something or the other, then these are all signs that your mental health is not good. In this case you should consult a psychiatrist.

Anemia or thyroid problem may also occur

Dr. Ajit says that in some cases, due to lack of hemoglobin in the body, the heart starts beating fast. Apart from this, heart rate can also increase due to thyroid problem. This is seen more in women.
