As soon as you wake up in the morning, if you are often seeing swelling around your face or eyes, then taking it lightly can be dangerous for your health. Many people ignore it as a lack of sleep, eating food late at night or the effect of fatigue, but frequent swelling in the face or eyes can also be a sign of some serious illness.
This inflammation of the face sometimes indicates a problem hidden inside the body. Allergies, thyroid disturbances, kidney failures or problems in liver can also cause facial inflammation. Let us understand what can be the reasons behind swelling in the face and eyes in the morning and when you should be alert. About this Dr. Pinn Kumar in Medicine Department at RML Hospital Have told
1. Kidney function disturbances-
When the kidney does not work properly, the extra fluids and toxins present in the body are unable to get out. Its effect starts appearing around the face and eyes. The swelling on the face in the morning can be the first sign of a hidden disease of the kidney.
2. Thyroid problem (hypothyroidism)-
Lack of hypothyroidism i.e. thyroid hormone can also cause facial inflammation. In this situation, metabolism slows down and fluid retention in the body increases, due to which the eyes and face feel bloated in the morning.
4. Lever problem-
When the liver does not work properly, there is a disturbance in the protein metabolism, due to which water starts to freeze in the body. Its effect is first visible on the face, eyes and feet.
