A doctor forgot his watch in Vande Bharat train. The RPF located the watch within just 40 minutes of filing the complaint on the Railways website. The doctor appreciated this quick and efficient action of the Railways.
Chennai: A doctor has told about an incident that happened while traveling in Vande Bharat train and something amazing happened 40 minutes later. Doctor Saheb was going to Egmore near Chennai by Vande Bharat train. When he went to the washroom in the middle of the journey, he took off his watch and forgot it there. After getting down from the train and reaching home, he remembered that he had forgotten his watch. He immediately lodged a complaint on the railway website. The doctor told how his watch was recovered within just 40 minutes of filing the complaint, which was no less than an exciting incident.
The call came at 12:49 midnight
The doctor reached Egmore railway station at 11 pm. After getting off the train and reaching home, he remembered that he had left his watch in the washroom during the journey. He had come home, thinking what to do now, he lodged a complaint on the Indian Railways website at around 12:28 midnight by giving his PNR number, Aadhaar number and other information. After the complaint was confirmed, he was sitting and thinking about the loss of the watch when at around 12:49 a call came from the RPF of the Railway Department. He told that the Vande Bharat train in which you had traveled has gone to the yard and has been asked to investigate.
WhatsApp message came at 1:21 midnight
The photo of the clock came on WhatsApp at 1:21 midnight. After this the RPF officer called and informed that the watch has been found. He said that you should confirm and take your watch. From filing the complaint to getting the watch and receiving the call, it all took a total of 40 minutes. The doctor told that his lost watch was found in 40 minutes.

The next day I went to the station, showed my documents and brought the watch back. My salute to all the employees of the Railway Department who worked hard to find the watch. The doctor said, ‘The lesson to be learned from this story is to not lose courage under any circumstances and have faith in the government.’
