Divya Sikarwar Murder Case: A very sensational case has come to light in Morena. 17 year old Divya Sikarwar was shot dead by her father Bharat. Police investigation revealed that mother Gudiya and minor brother were also involved in this incident. After the murder, the family took the help of friends, neighbors and relatives to dispose of the body and destroy evidence. Till now the police have registered a case against 11 named and 12 unidentified people.

Divya was a class 12 student and was in a love affair with a boy from another community. When the father came to know about this, he first tried to explain, but Divya did not give up her love affair. On September 22, the father beat him, and on the evening of September 23, the family hatched a murder plot.
Horrible game of the night: How was the body transported to the river?
Mata’s Aarti was going on at 7.30 pm on 23rd September. There was a fight between the father and Divya and in anger Bharat shot him. Hearing the sound of gunshot, mother and brother came into the room. The family called neighbor Deepak Sikarwar and decided to seek help in taking Divya’s body from the hospital to the village.

At 10.30 pm, Divya’s body was taken to village Bhagwan Singh’s Pura. Other people already waiting there were also involved in this deadly game. Big stones were tied on the dead body and it was thrown into the Kwari river.
When was this secret revealed?
On September 27, an unknown neighbor informed the police about the incident. The police immediately took action and detained father Bharat. He confessed his crime. The body was recovered from the river on 28 September. SCRF and FSL team recovered the body after 18 hours of continuous search.

On September 30, the post mortem report at Gwalior Medical College revealed that Divya was murdered by shooting. The father-father confessed to the crime. Now the police is investigating the role of all the 23 accused.
