Disturbance in Mathura Plantation: Forest Minister sent SDO and Ranger to headquarters, investigation on DFO

Mathura: Forest Minister Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena took strict action when less than 20% saplings were found in Tulagarhi Plantation of Mathura. DFO was ordered to investigate, while instructions were issued to attach SDO Manish Kumar and Mount Ranger Buddha Priya Gautam to the headquarters.

Mathura News: Uttar Pradesh Forest Minister Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena today conducted a surprise inspection of Tulagarhi Plantation located in Mont Range, Mathura. During inspection it was found that less than 20 percent plants were present here. The minister expressed strong displeasure over this negligence.

DFO ordered investigation, two officers attached to headquarters

Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the Minister directed Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Shri Venkat Shrikar Patel to immediately investigate. Also, orders to attach Sub Divisional Forest Officer (SDO) Mr. Manish Kumar and Mount Ranger Buddha Priya Gautam to the headquarters were given to Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Mr. Sunil Chaudhary.

Minister laid emphasis on transparency in plantation works

After the surprise inspection, the Forest Minister clearly said that any kind of negligence in plantation work will not be tolerated. He also instructed the officials to improve the actual condition of plantation and increase monitoring.
