Hyderabad: Drinking water supply will be disrupted in parts of the city for about 40 hours starting on February 11 due to major repair works on the Manjeera phase-2 pumping main.
Major leaks have occurred in various locations along the 1500 mm diameter PSC pumping main, specifically from Patancheru to Haider Nagar and from Kalabgur to Patancheru.
To repair these leaks, maintenance work will be undertaken from 6:00 AM on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, until 10:00 PM on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
Therefore, during these 40 hours, some areas mentioned below will experience low-pressure water supply, while others will face a complete disruption in supply.
Areas affected by the disruption:
- O&M Division 17: RC Puram, Ashok Nagar, Jyothi Nagar, Lingampally, Chandanagar, Gangaram, Madinaguda, Miyapur.
- O&M Division 22: Beeramguda, Ameenpur, Bhagyanagar Colony.
- Transmission Division 2: Offtake points, Bulk connections.
- O&M Division 6: Erragadda, S.R. Nagar, Ameerpet.
- O&M Division 9: KPHB Colony, Kukatpally, Bhagyanagar Colony, Pragathi Nagar
Therefore, consumers in the above-mentioned areas are requested to use water judiciously.
