Diljit Dosanjh Exits ‘No Entry 2’! Here’s Why He Left The Sequel

After months of speculation, Diljit Dosanjh has officially opted out of the highly anticipated sequel ‘No Entry 2’, PeepingMoon.com confirms.

The Punjabi singer-actor was set to star alongside Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in the Anees Bazmee directed comedy and produced by Boney Kapoor.

Contrary to rumours, Diljit’s exit is not due to creative differences or controversies surrounding other cast members. Sources confirm that he had to step away because his schedule didn’t match the film’s shooting dates. He was supposed to play one of the three main roles, but his busy calendar made it impossible to fit in.

Reason Behind Diljit’s Exit

Reports indicate that the makers of ‘No Entry 2’ planned to begin shooting in October 2025. However, Diljit’s “Aura Tour” in Australia and New Zealand, scheduled from October 26 to November 13, along with other film commitments, made it impossible for him to commit to the project.

A source close to the project said, “Diljit’s packed touring schedule was becoming a challenge for the No Entry team. The film requires extensive planning for its massive sequel, and unfortunately, Diljit’s dates just couldn’t align. Given these constraints, both sides have amicably and mutually decided to part ways,” a source close to the project told us.

What’s Next for the Film

With Diljit’s exit confirmed, the makers are now searching for a replacement and have reportedly initiated talks with several actors. This casting change may push back the shooting schedule, as finding a suitable leading actor on short notice is proving difficult, with many unavailable until next year.

Diljit Dosanjh was recently under fire since the trailer of Sardaar Ji 3 dropped, due to his collaboration with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. Amid backlash from netizens and film bodies, including calls to ban all his upcoming projects in India.
