Did Stray Kids’ Felix Treat His Staff Like ‘Servants’? How Anonymous Posts Forced Singer To Take Legal Action

Stray Kids member Felix has reacted strongly to an anonymous social media user who repeatedly spread defamatory rumours that the K-pop idol allegedly mistreated his staff members.

Pledging legal action with regard to the case, Felix has already received US court approval to expose the identity of the defamer.

What were the defamatory posts?

According to court filings, an anonymous X user allegedly uploaded false and insulting posts, spreading rumours across social media. It stated that Felix “treated staff like servants” and “acted like a prince.” The repeated posts was put out on March 8, March 15, and May 24 of this year. It was stated that the targetted accusations caused Felix mental anguish, physical stress, and damaged his reputation as a singer.

On September 5, Koreaboo reported that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California granted Felix permission to obtain “personally identifiable information (PII)” from X (formerly Twitter) to use in a civil lawsuit in Korea. As per reports, his previous attempt at suing the defamer through a lawsuit filed at Seoul Eastern District Court got stalled since the defendant’s real name and address could not be identified or served. Now, after discovering the accuser’s identity, Felix can continue pursuing a civil lawsuit against them through Korea’s court system.

Fans refuse to believe the defamer’s claims

Fans expressed concern and lent support to Felix on social media. One user wrote, “Amen and good for him . It’s time for these haters to get what’s coming to them.” Another one said, “his company should be doing this, not him, but i’m so glad he’s getting justice.”

One furious fan commented, “Who would believe that Yongbokie would mistreat staff? FR, hope they KTS.” A second one added, “It’s so unbelievable that Felix would mistreat staff.”
