There has been a debate in our country for a long time on the assassination of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. There is an ideology which believes that Nathuram Godse, who murdered Gandhiji, is right. People who are considered ideals and role models have often been asked the question, what do they think about the assassination of Gandhiji?
When this question was asked to Dr. Vikas Divyakirti, he answered it very boldly. Vikas Divyakirti has now become not just a teacher but also a thought leader of the youth. His thoughts and words reach crores of youth and the youth also follow him, hence he answered this question openly.
In an interview, Vikas Divyakirti said that there was opposition to Gandhiji in this country from the beginning, Godseji was also opposed to Gandhiji, this was his thinking, he had every right to oppose, his ideology was different, he also had every right to express his views, but to express one’s views by killing someone and that too by killing Mahatma Gandhi, I will never be able to accept as long as I live that killing Mahatma Gandhi was a good deed. The question does not arise.
Vikas Divyakirti further said, “Everyone has the right to protest. Everyone has the right, I too and you too, but killing cannot be right at all.” He further said that in a society there are all types of people and all types of ideologies. In our country, not everyone gets good education and those who cannot read and write, they consider WhatsApp as a university and if such a video comes on the same university that Godse did good by killing Gandhi, then that person will believe in it and move ahead. It is not his fault in this.

Let us tell you that the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi was shot dead on 30 January 1948 at Birla Bhawan in the capital Delhi. It is said about Nathuram Godse that he did not agree with Gandhiji’s ideology. However, even after the assassination of Gandhiji, there is an ideology in the country which considers his assassination justified. Incidents like worshiping Gandhiji’s murderer Nathuram Godse and building a temple are proof of this.
