Officials informed Mid-Day, “More than 100 individuals from a Bollywood film crew were admitted to the hospital in Leh following a suspected food poisoning incident late Sunday night.” For those unaware, the crew experienced intense abdominal discomfort, vomiting, and headaches after consuming the meal.
Subsequently, they were swiftly transported to the Sajal Narbu Memorial (SNM) Hospital in Leh for medical care. The physician confirmed it was a case of mass food poisoning. An official stated that nearly 600 individuals had consumed the same meal at the site. “Food samples have been gathered for thorough examination to determine the cause,” the official added.

A senior physician disclosed, “We handled the influx of patients efficiently. The police also intervened to manage the crowded emergency room and alleviate panic.” The patients are now stable, and most have been released after receiving care.
