Dhurandhar Box Office Collection: Ranveer Singh Film Nears Rs 600 Crore Worldwide, Beats Saiyaara

Dhurandhar is doing what very few Hindi films manage to do after a big opening week – it is holding strong and growing. Aditya Dhar’s period spy thriller continues its dream run at the box office, with day 11 numbers proving that audiences are still showing up in large numbers across India and overseas.

Instead of slowing down after the weekend, the Ranveer Singh starrer stayed steady through Monday, keeping theatres busy through the evening and night shows. With no major release competing until later this week, Dhurandhar is making the most of its clear run.

Dhurandhar day 11 numbers confirm blockbuster status

By the end of day 11, Dhurandhar collected Rs 379 crore net in India, according to Sacnilk. With this, the film has officially entered the top 10 highest-grossing Hindi films in terms of domestic net collection. Globally, the film has reached Rs 588 crore, and trade estimates suggest it will cross the Rs 600 crore mark today.

On Monday, Dhurandhar added Rs 29 crore to its India total. The overall occupancy for the day stood at 42.35%, which is solid for a weekday. Morning shows opened at 21.75%, but numbers improved sharply as the day went on. Afternoon occupancy was 40.74%, while evening and night shows jumped to 51.17% and 55.75%, showing strong audience interest even after the weekend.

For Ranveer Singh, this film marks a major milestone. Dhurandhar is now his biggest domestic box office hit, beating Padmaavat. It has also turned into a career-high grosser for most of the film’s ensemble cast.

The film is performing just as strongly overseas. With Rs 588 crore already earned worldwide, Dhurandhar has overtaken Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, which was one of the biggest hits earlier this year.

Before Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh’s career had seen a mix of highs, risks and uneven box office outcomes. He was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023), directed by Karan Johar, which performed well theatrically and re-established his mass appeal. Before that, he appeared in Cirkus (2022), Rohit Shetty’s comedy that failed to click with audiences and critics alike.

News18 gave the film 4 stars. An excerpt from the review said, “Dhurandhar is definitely about testosterone-pumped spies who suffer silently and about the cost of wars. At the same time, it’s emotionally rich and gritty. And this cinematic marathon is absolutely worth your time. You’ll go back home with the anticipation surrounding a high-voltage second part. No, there’s no cliffhanger. You do know what lies ahead. But what we’re intrigued about is Aditya’s lens, the textured narrative, more of these delicious performances and a little more taste of Shashwat’s musical landscape.”
