is currently riding high on the success of Dhurandhar 2. The actor essays the character of Yasir in Aditya Dhar’s directorial, which was released on March 19. In the Ranveer Singh-starrer, Abhay is seen as Arshad Pappu’s (Ashwin Dhar) brother.
After Dhurandhar The Revenge hit the big screen, Zoom exclusively interacted with Abhay. In conversation with us, the actor discussed Arshad Pappu’s brutal death scene in the film. The scene features Uzair Baloch (Danish Pandor) beheading the gangster.

In an exclusive conversation with us, Abhay was asked about the Lyari gangster’s death scene in Dhurandhar 2, and how it was shot. Reacting to this, the Bollywood actor shared, “I’m getting goosebumps while just talking about it. It is a real story. It really had happened, as per the story in real life. It was our duty to convey this story to the world that it really has happened.”
The actor added, “To perform that, we had to go all in. We were quite happy to perform something of this sort.” Abhay mentioned tha team was also nervous to know how the audience would take the scene when the film would release. “But I’m glad that they have understood and it’s something which happened in real life.”

Continuing the conversation, Abhay opened up about playing Yasir in Dhurandhar 2. The actor revealed that his character has two major sides to it. “As a gangster, yes, you are brutal. But you have been able to see the love in his eyes for his brother. He was always standing along with his brother, protective and loving towards him and submissive towards him. At the same time, he had this brutality in his eyes and in his character.”
That said, it was difficult for Abhay to play a character that has multiple sides to it and has many emotions to express.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 features Ranveer Singh as Hamza Ali Mazari/ Jaskirat Singh Rangi, Rakesh Bedi as Jameel Jamali and Sara Arjun as Yalina Jamali. On the other hand, R Madhavan plays Ajay Sanyal, while Sanjay Dutt is seen as SP Chaudhary Aslam. As for Arjun Rampal, he essays the character of Major Iqbal.
