Despite its record-breaking pace, Dhurandhar: The Revenge still trails behind a few major titles in worldwide collections. Dangal remains the highest-grossing Indian film globally with around Rs 2,070 crore. Much of that figure came from its historic release in China.

Meanwhile, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion earned roughly Rs 1,788 crore worldwide, while Pushpa 2: The Rule stands close with about Rs 1,742 crore. With Dhurandhar 2 already approaching Rs 1,500 crore, trade analysts believe the gap could narrow if the film continues its strong momentum in the coming weeks.

Can it challenge Dangal’s record?

Even with its extraordinary performance, beating Dangal may remain difficult. The Aamir Khan film’s total was boosted by its massive Chinese release. Unless Dhurandhar: The Revenge secures a similar international rollout in markets like China, the top spot might stay out of reach.

Still, the film’s current trajectory suggests that it could challenge Baahubali 2 and Pushpa 2 in the coming weeks. If the momentum continues, the Ranveer Singh starrer may deliver one of Bollywood’s biggest box office triumphs in recent years.
