Dhurandhar 2 Worldwide Collection: Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, has taken the global box office by storm, crossing an impressive Rs 761 crore worldwide within its extended four-day opening weekend.
While the film has shattered multiple records and delivered one of the biggest openings in Bollywood history, it has fallen short of surpassing the massive benchmark set by Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2, which continues to dominate the record books.
Dhurandhar 2 worldwide box office collection shatters records but…
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 opened to phenomenal numbers both in India and overseas. The film recorded a staggering Rs 550 crore gross in India and an additional Rs 211 crore from international markets, taking its total worldwide gross to Rs 761 crore.

In North America alone, the film collected approximately $14 million (around Rs 131.5 crore), setting a new all-time record for an Indian film’s extended opening weekend in the region. The overseas total stood at Rs 211 crore, making it the biggest four-day overseas opening weekend for an Indian film. These achievements show that the world is ready for Bollywood, with Dhurandhar 2 leading the charge. Impressively, the spy-thriller did all of this without release in Gulf countries, where it has been banned.
Domestically, the film delivered equally impressive numbers. The India net box office collection reached Rs 466 crore in just four days. The day-wise breakdown reflects the film’s strong momentum:
- Day 1 (including paid previews): Rs 145 crore
- Day 2: Rs 83 crore
- Day 3: Rs 117 crore
- Day 4: Rs 121 crore
Total: Rs 466 crore (India net)
The film also created history by recording the biggest opening day, second day, third day, and fourth day in Hindi cinema. Additionally, it secured the biggest extended opening weekend for a Bollywood film both domestically and worldwide.
Pushpa 2 vs Dhurandhar 2
However, despite these record-breaking figures, Dhurandhar 2 could not surpass the colossal opening of Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2. The latter had amassed a worldwide gross of Rs 829 crore within its first four days, setting a benchmark that remains untouched. In India alone, the Hindi version of Pushpa 2 earned Rs 285.7 crore, while the Telugu version contributed Rs 198.55 crore. Other regional versions also added significantly, showcasing the film’s pan-India dominance.

In comparison, while Dhurandhar 2 performed exceptionally well in Hindi markets, it lacked the multi-language reach that boosted Pushpa 2’s numbers. The Allu Arjun starrer also posted strong overseas figures, earning around Rs 87 crore in North America during its opening weekend.

Despite not beating Pushpa 2, the performance of Dhurandhar 2 remains historic. It has set new standards for Bollywood openings and Ranveer Singh’s star power at the box office is at an all-time high. The film’s strong word-of-mouth and repeat value might just help the film race ahead in the long run.
