During the interaction, Ranveer turned the spotlight on fans, asking about their favourite tracks from the first film. As the crowd shouted names like Ishq Ishq, Shararat and Karvaan, he smiled and said, “This is what makes it special, as everyone has their own favourites and all of them are different.”

Ranveer even shared his heartfelt gratitude. “Our entire team is so happy and excited. Also, we are so humbled and grateful for the response to the first part of the film. We are so humbled with the kind of excitement and anticipation that we have seen for the second part; it is unprecedented,” he said. “Everywhere I go, people are like, ‘I’m listening to the music of ‘Dhurandhar’, be it in college, gym or any other place. What could be a bigger and happier thing for us artists than this?” he further added.
The original film, directed by Aditya Dhar, had set the box office on fire with a staggering Rs 1,300 crore global collection. Now, the sequel is already mirroring that momentum.
Ranveer also praised composer Shashwat Sachdev, calling him an “unstoppable, fireball, and musical juggernaut”. He added that the music remains the “soul of the film”. Videos from the music launch are now making rounds on the internet, where the actor can be seen exuding electrifying energy on the stage.

About Dhurandhar: The Revenge
Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, is set to release on March 19, with paid previews scheduled a day earlier on March 18. The film has already shown strong box office momentum, earning Rs 40.54 crore from preview advance bookings alone, as per Sacnilk. Overseas, opening weekend sales are estimated at Rs 60 crore. Combined with Day 1 bookings, the film’s opening window has crossed Rs 130 crore, including block seats.
A spy action thriller, the sequel follows high-stakes missions and undercover operations. Starring Ranveer Singh alongside Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi, the film will release in multiple languages.
