Dhruv Shorey Record: Century, century and only century…If an ODI match is going on, Vidarbha batsman Dhruv Shorey does not even score below a century. This explosive right-handed batsman has once again scored a century. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy match in Rajkot, Shorey led his team to victory by scoring unbeaten 109 runs in 77 balls against Hyderabad. Vidarbha defeated Hyderabad by 89 runs and Dhruv was the player of the match. The amazing thing is that Dhruv Shorey has scored his fifth consecutive century in ODI cricket and he is only the second Indian to achieve this feat.

Dhruv Shorey has scored centuries in the last three matches of last season and now in the first two matches of this season in Vijay Hazare Trophy. He has played innings of 110, 114, 118, 136, 109* runs. He is the second Indian to score five consecutive ODI centuries. Earlier in the 2022-23 season, Narayan Jagadishan had done this feat. He also scored five consecutive centuries. However, Dhruv Shorey has definitely defeated Kumar Sangakkara, Alviro Pietersen, Devdutt Padikkal and Karun Nair. If Shorey scores a century again in the next match, he will become the first cricketer to score 6 consecutive centuries in ODI cricket.

Chennai pulled out after just 2 matches
Dhruv Shorey made his debut in IPL in the year 2018. He was bought by Chennai but that season he got a chance in only one match and in the next season also he could play only one match. After this, Dhruv was released by CSK and this player could play only two matches. Apart from CSK, no other batsman played any bet on him.Shorey has scored a total of 2848 runs in List A cricket with the help of 7 centuries. Even in first class cricket, this player has scored 15 centuries and has around 5500 runs. This player has scored 1236 runs in T20. It is clear that Shourie is full of talent but he has not been able to get opportunities.
