The auto components manufacturer Dhoot Transmission Ltd announced on Tuesday that the price band for its Rs 3,067-crore Initial Public Offering (IPO) has been established at Rs 829-871 per share, with the public subscription period beginning on August 10.
According to a public notice, the initial share sale is set to conclude on August 12, following the anchor investor bidding phase scheduled for August 7.
This IPO includes a fresh issuance of equity shares totalling up to Rs 1,400 crore, alongside an Offer For Sale (OFS) of up to 1.91 crore equity shares by Mangalam Capital Private Ltd and BC Asia Investments XV Limited, an affiliate of the private equity firm Bain Capital.
Shares Reservations
The offer structure reserves 50 per cent for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), 15 per cent for Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs), and designates the remaining 35 per cent for retail participants.
Additionally, equity shares valued up to Rs 6 crore are set aside for qualifying employees, who will receive a Rs 80 discount per share relative to the final offer price.
Market Cap And Listing Date
Based on the upper limit of the price band, the company’s post-issue market capitalisation is estimated at approximately Rs 17,816 crore, whereas the lower limit suggests a valuation of roughly Rs 17,025 crore.
It is anticipated that the company’s shares will be officially listed on the stock market on August 17.
Where Proceeds Would Be Used
The firm intends to allocate the fresh issue proceeds toward settling or prepaying specific outstanding debts, funding subsidiaries to clear debt, and establishing new manufacturing facilities for wiring harnesses in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, and Jhajjar, Haryana.
Furthermore, a portion of the capital raised will support strategic initiatives and inorganic acquisitions.
