- This is Kohli’s third century on Ranchi ground. He has scored 519 runs in 5 innings on this ground with the help of 3 centuries and one half-century. His average was 173 and strike rate was 110.
- With this century, Kohli scored 3 centuries in the third venue in India, which is the highest for any batsman. He has also scored 3-3 centuries in Visakhapatnam and Pune. Whereas Sachin Tendulkar had scored 3 centuries in Vadodara.
- Not only this, Kohli has become the batsman to score maximum 6 centuries in ODI against South Africa. He broke the record of David Warner and Sachin Tendulkar (5).
