Veteran actor and producer Dheeraj Kumar passed away today (July 15) after battling acute pneumonia. He was 79 and breathed his last at Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai.

Dheeraj Kumar to be cremated tomorrow
According to the latest update, Dheeraj Kumar’s funeral will be held tomorrow (July 16) at 11 am in Mumbai’s Pawan Hans crematorium ground, situated in Vile Parle West. His mortal remains will be taken to his house tomorrow at 6 am. Dheeraj Kumar’s mortal remains will be kept at the house till 10 am for antim darshan (final respects). His residence is the Sky Deck Building on SAB TV Lane, near Shabri Hotel, Andheri West.
Bollywood celebrities are expected to visit Dheeraj Kumar’s house to pay him tribute. After his demise, his family shared an official note with the media. The note reads, “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dheeraj Kumar, a renowned actor, producer, and director, who left us due to cardiac arrest. He was under treatment at Kokilaben Hospital in Andheri West and was on ventilator support. The industry mourns the loss of a talented professional who contributed significantly to the world of entertainment. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.”
Talking about Dheeraj Kumar, the actor-producer is survived by his wife, Zuby Kochar. He had acted in several big films such as Heera Panna, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, Sargam, Kranti, Raton Ka Raja and so on.
