The famous Deol family home in Mumbai’s Juhu area, commonly known as House, is set to get even bigger. According to reports, the luxurious bungalow, valued at approximately 60 crore, is undergoing expansion with the addition of a new floor.
Construction activity has recently been observed on the bungalow’s premises. A crane was also seen entering the property, confirming that work has begun. Sources indicate that Sunny Deol and are adding an entire new floor to their family home. A neighbour simply explained it this way: “The children are growing up, they need more space.”
According to sources, this is not a small project. The expansion of the house could take four to five months, or even longer.
Dharmendra House remains an example of a joint family home. Bobby Deol lives there with his wife, Tanya Deol and sons Aryaman and Dharam. Sunny Deol also resides in the same house with his wife, Pooja Deol, and sons Karan Deol and Rajveer Deol. Dharmendra’s wife, Prakash Kaur, his sister, and niece are also part of the household.
A special feature of this bungalow is its design, which beautifully blends modern sensibilities with traditional aesthetics. In an old interview, Bobby Deol mentioned that the house’s interior was designed by his wife, Tanya Deol, who is a professional interior designer. The house is adorned with Indian decorative items, wooden furniture, and old family photographs. The lush green garden visible upon entering is also a defining feature of the home.
Dharmendra House has also witnessed many special family occasions. Sunny Deol’s eldest son, Karan Deol held at this house, where the entire Deol family was seen together. The bungalow has always been the centre of family celebrations, including weddings, birthdays, and other family functions.
Now, with the additional floor, the Deol family wants to make the house more comfortable and ancestral.
