MP Road Accident Update: Major accident in Kukshi of Dhar district, girl students going to school were crushed by an unknown vehicle. Seven injured, two in critical condition. Police registered a case against the accused driver, search for the absconding vehicle continues.
Dhar Accident News: A major accident took place in Kukshi area of Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday morning. As soon as the girls of the tribal hostel left for school, a speeding unknown vehicle hit them. Seven girl students were injured in the accident, out of which the condition of two is said to be critical. There was panic in the area after the incident. People nearby immediately informed the police and ambulance. All the injured girl students have been admitted to the Community Health Center (CHC) of Kukshi. According to doctors, two girl students have suffered serious injuries on their heads and legs, while the remaining five have suffered minor injuries.
The road to school became the cause of the accident – the students used to go on foot every day
According to the information, all the injured girl students live in the Government Tribal Senior Girls Hostel, Kukshi. The distance from the hostel to the school is about one and a half kilometres, which these girls cover on foot every day. Even on Saturday morning, all the girls from class 9th to 12th were going to school as usual. Then suddenly an unknown vehicle coming from behind hit them.
Driver absconding, police started search
After the accident, the driver fled along with the vehicle. The police immediately registered a case and started searching for the unknown vehicle. The police officer said that the footage of nearby CCTV cameras is being scrutinized so that the accused driver can be identified. On the spot, the police also seized tire marks and parts of the broken vehicle from the spot.
There was a commotion in the hospital – family members arrived and cried
As soon as the news of the accident reached the hostel and school, the staff rushed to the spot. The injured girl students were immediately taken to the hospital, where their families were also informed. Within some time the parents reached the hospital crying. Doctors say that the condition of two girl students is critical, while the treatment of other girl students is going on.
