According to the information given by the government, this scheme will be implemented through 36 current schemes of 11 departments, other state schemes and local partnerships along with private partnerships. Under the scheme, district level agricultural schemes will be made for 100 districts. In these districts, farmers will take special steps to increase their crop diversity, save water and maintain soil health. The purpose of this scheme is not only to improve the agricultural sector, but also to promote Atmanirbhar Bharat in the whole country. As the indicators of these 100 districts improve, the country’s indicators will also be better. Apart from this, the cabinet announced that the National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC Limited) will also invest Rs 20,000 crore in the renewable energy sector.
