Dhadak 2 Early Review: Siddhant & Triptii Starrer Is A Thrilling Romantic Ride But The Climax Is…

Dhadak 2 Early Review: Remember the 2018 release Dhadak starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter? The movie had left a mark on millions of hearts and witnessed a decent response at the box office as well.

And now, after six years Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions are back with the much awaited sequel of the movie and we can’t keep calm about it. We are talking about Dhadak 2 which is a romantic drama and features Siddhant Chaturvedi, Triptii Dimri, Zakir Hussain and Saurabh Sachdev in the lead. Given the success of Dhadak, Dhadak 2 has undoubtedly managed to create a buzz in the town.

Directed by Shazia Iqbal, Dhadak 2 is said to be a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal. The film revolves around Nilesh (played by Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Vidhi (played by Triptii Dimri), who belong to different castes and end up falling in love. However, their caste difference emerges as a major threat to their relationship. And as Dhadak 2 is set to premiere on August 1, we have got our hands on the early review of the movie (censor board review)

Dhadak 2 Early Review

In a tweet shared by self proclaimed critic Umair Sandhu tweeted Dhadak 2 is a thrilling romantic ride. He gave 3.5 stars to the movie and wrote, “First Review #Dhadak2 from Censor Board: What a Power Packed film. #TriptiiDimri & Movie Climax is the USP of film. She stole the Show all the way. #siddhantchaturvedi also acts very well. Go for this Thrilling Romantic Ride”. To note, Dhadak 2 has a runtime of 2 hours and 2 minutes.

Meanwhile talking about her character, Triptii stated, “For me, she is Vidhi. She is not afraid to speak her truth. There is so much to learn from her because she makes you feel empowered. I have been an introvert. I’ve seen and faced things, and not raised my voice against them. For 30 years of my life, I have kept quiet about so many things. I never had the guts to tell people that it’s wrong. I told Shazia that I want to be like Vidhi; that by the end of this film, I should have the courage to speak my truth without being scared of anyone or the outcome. Now, I do stand up for the right things. This film made me open up a lot more”.
