CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 39.80 crore in Kagpur. Many works including community building, road and market started. The government is running schemes for the welfare of farmers, women and youth and the emphasis is on religious and social development.
Bhopal/Vidisha. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth a total of Rs 39.80 crore in Gram Panchayat Kagpur of Vidisha district on 21 November. These include:
- Bhoomipujan of 135 new community buildings built at a cost of Rs 34.05 crore
- Bhoomipujan of Kagpur-Vidisha-Ashoknagar road
- Inauguration of Haat Bazaar built at a cost of Rs 5.75 crore
Benefits of various schemes were also distributed to the beneficiaries in the program. The Chief Minister announced that a water park and sanctuary will be built in Kagpur with the help of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board.
Government committed to the welfare of the poor, farmers, sisters and youth
In his address, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is continuously working in the interest of the poor, farmers, women and youth. He stated that:
- Villages are being linked to development and self-reliance
- Cow rearing is being promoted to increase farmer income.
- Funds have been given to farmers under Bhavantar Yojana
- The government’s resolve is to ensure that water reaches every village and every farm.
- Water sources have been conserved on a large scale under the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan.
The government is also working on developing model Vrindavan villages in every gram panchayat. The Chief Minister described Kagpur as a model and well-equipped village and said that the new Haat Bazaar, in which 128 shops have been prepared, will become a major business center of the area.
Farmers are getting fair price for their crops
The Chief Minister said that Ladli Behna Yojana has brought positive changes in the lives of more than 1 crore 26 lakh Ladli sisters of the state. Farmers are getting Rs 12,000 (in three installments) every year from the Central and State Government and fair prices for their crops are being ensured through Bhavantar Yojana. He said that during the previous governments, the state was facing power crisis and bad roads, but under the present government, development work in the state has gained momentum.
Government strengthening human sensibilities and social concerns
The Chief Minister said that keeping in mind the social and human values, the state government has started Rahveer Yojana, under which immediate assistance is being provided to road accident victims. Other key initiatives:
- Air ambulance service operated in the state
- Construction of Shanti Dhams in every Panchayat
- Special attention to preservation of Sanatan culture, heritage and religious places
- All the places of worship associated with Lord Krishna are being developed as pilgrimage sites.
- Development of temples of Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna
- Grand event of Geeta Jayanti
