Urban Development Feedback Up: In the developed Uttar Pradesh @2047 campaign, the public made extensive suggestions on education, agriculture, health and employment oriented courses. More than 1.25 lakh feedback made it clear that people are active partners in the development journey of the state.

The ‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh – developed Uttar Pradesh @2047’ campaign, which is being run with the goal of inclusion of Uttar Pradesh in the category of developed states by 2047, is getting tremendous support from the public. This public participation has proved that the people of Uttar Pradesh are not only participating in the development journey of the government, but are also playing their active role in deciding the direction of the future.

More than 1.25 lakh feedback recorded

So far, more than 1.25 lakh feedbacks have been recorded on the portal Samarthuttarpradesh.up.gov.in built under the campaign. Of these, 88 thousand suggestions were received from rural areas and 24 thousand urban areas.

  • More than 41 thousand suggestions from the age group below 31 years
  • More than 65 thousand suggestions from the age group of 31 to 60 years
  • 7 thousand suggestions from the age group of more than 60 years

Education got the most importance

People have considered the foundation of future development.

  • More than 41 thousand suggestions connected to the education sector
  • More than 19 thousand urban and rural development
  • 17 thousand on agriculture sector
  • 12 thousand on health
  • 10 thousand on social welfare

This trend shows that the public considers both education and agriculture as the biggest need for development.

Enthusiastic participation from districts

The highest number of 16,350 feedbacks were recorded from districts like Agra, Ballia, Kanpur Nagar, Balrampur, Jaunpur, Firozabad, Mainpuri and Pratapgarh. This reflects the widespread success of the campaign and the deep interest of the public.

Public opinion on education reform

People insisted on providing basic facilities such as clean toilets, pure drinking water, library and sports grounds for the students.

  • The demand for high-speed internet and smart classroom was raised to empower digital education in rural areas.
  • There was a need to implement transparency and technical reforms in the examination system.
  • To make education employment oriented, it was suggested to include business courses and e-learning portals.

Concern over the cost of private education

The public in urban areas expressed concern over the rising cost of private education. People believe that if the quality and resources of government schools are improved, then not only will there be equal opportunities in education but social inequality will also be reduced.

‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh – Developed Uttar Pradesh @2047’ campaign has shown that the public is an integral part of the development journey of the state through its suggestions and ideas. It is clear that Uttar Pradesh is moving towards a strong and self -sufficient future by emphasizing on education, agriculture and employment oriented schemes.
