If possible, take bath in Pradoshkaal or auspicious time in the evening and wear clean clothes. Choose a clean place near the main entrance of the house or in the puja room. It is very auspicious if there is a Tulsi plant there.4. Take an earthen lamp, add ghee or oil to it and light the lamp. Place this lamp under the Tulsi or in the north-west direction of the house and chant the following mantra in your mind two-three times (you can choose a simple mantra like ‘Om Shri Krishnay Vasudevaya Om’).
