Rajasthan Heavy Rain Alert: Districts like Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Dungarpur and Pali of Rajasthan are receiving heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert that there will be terrible rains in 30 districts of Pragesh in the days of arrival.
Rajasthan Weather Today: The monsoon has become active once again in Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow alert for 30 districts of the state on Saturday. Especially districts like Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Dungarpur and Pali have been raining continuously for the last two days, due to which the river-drains have been flooded and life has been affected. In view of the situation, the schools in Chittorgarh, Salumbar and Udaipur (except the city) were declared holidays on Saturday. Please tell that so far more than 100 people have died in this year’s rain and accidents in Rajasthan.
From Chittorgarh to Udaipur and Jhunjhunu… know the condition of rain
- The Ruparel River in Chittorgarh was in spate, in which 5 people from the same family were swept away. The relief team took three safely, but the search for the mother-daughter is still going on.
- The couple riding the bike in Pali district got stuck in the edge of the river. The husband somehow saved his life by grabbing the tree while the wife resorted to the bushes and the villagers took out both.
- Part of the bridge near Khachan village on the Panarwa-Kotra road in Udaipur broke under rain pressure. Due to this, the villagers are facing difficulty in movement.
- A gate of the Mansi Wakal Dam had to be opened in Jhadol, which increased the water pressure in the low -lying areas.
- Brother-in-law died after drowning in a pool on Friday morning in Udaipurwati, Jhunjhunu.
- So far, more than 100 people have died in this year’s rains and related accidents in Rajasthan and rescue teams have saved more than 800 people.

- Meteorological department estimates meteorologists say that due to low-pest system and active monsoon trough made in the Bay of Bengal, light to moderate rain will continue in many parts of the state. There is a possibility of heavy rains in the districts of Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Kota, Bikaner, Udaipur and Jodhpur divisions.
- While life has been affected by heavy rains, this water is proving to be icing for farmers. Kharif crops are getting irrigation and water is also being compensated in water bodies. However, families living in low -lying areas and raw houses are facing trouble.
- This monsoon phase in Rajasthan is likely to continue till next week. The Meteorological Department has advised people not to go near the river drains and take precautions.
