Dense fog chokes Delhi-NCR with near-zero visibility, disrupts flight operations

New Delhi: Delhi-NCR residents woke up to dense fog again on Monday, December 15. Visibility is reducing day by day in the region, and it has now dropped to near zero. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert for fog and also urged the residents to remain cautious and avoid travelling early morning.

Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) now dipped down to the ‘severe plus’ category as the mark crossed 450 on Monday morning. Delhi’s Ashok Vihar’s AQI was recorded at 500 in the early hours of the day.
