On July 24, the band launched the track, which quickly grabbed the attention of fans. The release continues ‘s momentum after recent singles Pinky Up, Gabriela, Gnarly and Touch.
Demi Moore surprises
One of the biggest surprises in the music video is a cameo by Oscar nominee Demi Moore. In the middle of the video, the members are frantically digging into a full wardrobe as they try to put together the perfect outfits. Moore observes the proceedings, joining in the styling session with humorous critiques of fashion.
“No,” Moore answers flatly when Lara asks if she likes the way the group is dressed. The 63-year-old then criticises Megan’s choice of shoes before dismissing several other combinations of fashion in what becomes one of the most memorable sequences of the video.
The tongue-in-cheek cameo is a humorous touch that highlights a playful tone to Animal.
