Eight aircraft were sent to Jaipur, 5 to Lucknow and 2 to Chandigarh. It started intermittently on Tuesday morning which continued throughout the day. There was heavy rain in the evening.

Heavy jam on roads in Delhi

Due to heavy rains, there was heavy jam on the roads. Roads were submerged in many areas. This caused a lot of trouble to the people. Earlier, Delhi Airport officials issued an advisory saying that flight operations are likely to be affected due to bad weather. In the statement, Delhi Airport said,

Flight operations at Delhi Airport may be affected due to bad weather in Delhi. Our on-ground teams are working closely with all stake holders to ensure uninterrupted and efficient experience to passengers.

The Delhi Airport advised passengers to get updated information related to their respective airlines. Consider using Delhi Metro to reach the airport to avoid possible delays on the roads.
