Delhi Winter Office Timings: In view of the increasing air pollution in Delhi, a major change has been made in the office timings. The Delhi government led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has changed the timings of state government and municipal corporation offices. The new timetable is from 15 November 2025 to 15 February 2026. The purpose of this step is to reduce traffic pressure on the roads and control pollution. The Chief Minister said that his government is making continuous and serious efforts so that the problem of pollution can be tackled in time.
Why were office timings changed in Delhi?
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that her government does not believe in finding solutions after the problem arises, but takes proactive steps beforehand. Recently, the deteriorating air quality of Delhi was reviewed in a meeting with senior scientific officers of the Environment Department. In winter, the level of pollutants like PM 2.5 and PM 10 goes much above normal, due to which there is a serious risk to health.
