Delhi-NCR Pollution: Delhi’s air has not improved even on 24th October. People are still having trouble breathing. According to the Central Pollution Control Board report on Thursday, air quality was recorded as very poor in many cities of North India. Pollution remains in very poor category in Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Western UP and Punjab. Meanwhile, cases of stubble burning are also continuously coming to light in Punjab, Haryana and UP. On Wednesday alone, incidents of stubble burning were recorded at 79 places in Punjab.
AQI reached beyond 400
The air quality in Jind remained very poor on Wednesday-Thursday night and the AQI there crossed 400. Now in such a situation, the Haryana Pollution Control Board has given instructions to keep strict vigil in sensitive cities, control vehicle smoke, not burn garbage and run special campaigns to reduce dust. At the same time, Dholpur was the most polluted city in Rajasthan, where AQI was recorded at 311. The air condition was also very bad in Amritsar, Ludhiana and Jalandhar of Punjab. Whereas in Uttar Pradesh, AQI of Noida and Meerut was recorded at 276 and 300, of which Meerut was the most polluted city.

How will the weather be in other states?
There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands between October 23 and 27. During this period, winds will also blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. In North India, the minimum temperature is expected to drop by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in the next two to three days, which will increase the feeling of cold in many areas.
