PM Modi INAUGURUTES DWARKA EXPRESSWAY: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new section and UER-II of Dwarka Expressway. Nitin Gadkari, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini were also present on the occasion.
PM Narendra Modi INAUGURATES DWARKA EXPRESSWAY: The journey from Noida to Indira Gandhi International Airport is going to be even easier. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two big road projects worth about Rs 11,000 crore for Delhi and NCR. These projects include Delhi Khand and Urban Extension Road-2 of Dwarka Expressway. Prime Minister Modi was accompanied by Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini at the inauguration ceremony.
Relief from jam
The objective of these projects is to make traffic facilitated in Delhi and surrounding areas, reduce travel time and provide relief from jam. Before the inauguration, PM Modi interacted with the workers engaged in the construction of these roads. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta described UER-2 as a game-changer for the capital. He said that this corridor will help in completing the journey from Singhu border to IGI Airport in 40 minutes.

Air pollution will also decrease
UER-2 will connect Delhi to national highways like NH-44, NH-9 and NH-48 to industrial areas of Bahadurgarh. This will speed up the movement of industry and goods. The Chief Minister said that this road project will also make the journey easier to Chandigarh, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. In addition, it will connect with Delhi-Jaipur and Delhi-Mumbai highways and make the long distance travel easier. This will reduce fuel consumption and reduce air pollution.
