Delhi faces 2-day water supply disruption; check affected areas

New Delhi: Residents across several parts of southwest Delhi will face a 48-hour water supply disruption beginning 11 am on Wednesday, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) said in a statement.

According to DJB, a newly laid 1,500mm-diameter twin raw water line is being connected to the existing 1,500mm-diameter twin raw water main at the plant. The work is aimed at reorganising and improving water flow in the main pipeline network.

“Inconvenience caused to the public is regretted,” the Board said in a statement.
