Delhi patel Nagar crime news: A dreadful incident came to light in Patel Nagar of the capital which stunned the entire area. 26 -year -old domestic assistant Roshni (originally residents of Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh) has been arrested for strangling the newborn after delivery in the bathroom of his employer and throwing the body in the dustbin. This sensational incident came to know after the PCR call received by the police on 28 July.
Lover’s cheating-what did this change the life of a woman?
According to the police, in November 2024, Roshni went to attend a wedding in her village, where she made physical relations with her lover. On returning to Delhi, he informed the lover after discovering pregnancy, but refused to support. Roshni hid this from her employers for fear of social stigma and economic difficulties. He postponed the increasing stomach inflammation as a ‘disease’, while the employers advised to show the doctor.
Witness to death became a witness of the day-bathroom
On July 26, when the owner of the house went to a party, Roshni gave birth to a child in the bathroom alone. According to the police, he confessed that he strangled the newborn with a piece of cloth and threw the body into the dustbin of the building for fear of social slander.
How was the secret revealed?
Two days later, while collecting garbage, a cleaning worker found a white plastic bag with a newborn’s body. The police was immediately informed. The crime team reached the spot and gathered evidence and sent the body to RML Hospital for post -mortem. The report confirmed the murder by strangling.
Legal action-Who will be stuck in this case?
Patel Nagar Police registered a case against the woman under sections 103 (1) (murder) and 238 (a) (eradication of evidence) against the woman. Prior to the arrest, Roshni was kept in the ‘Sakhi One Stop Center’ of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital. The police will also interrogate her lover living in Rae Bareli and can be arrested if found guilty.
