Comic Con India has officially announced that it will have its flagship event back in the form of Delhi Comic Con 2025-26 on 5-7 December at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla. The 3-day pop culture festival will offer a filled schedule of cosplay, comics, games, music, and fan-centred events. The event tickets can now be purchased only within the District using a Zomato mobile app.
Delhi has been the centre of Comic Con India since its launch in 2011 and every year attracts thousands of fans, artists, and creators. The last version had more than 52,000 visitors, real-time entertainment of comedians and musicians, and gaming areas. The organisers believe that the current edition will be larger, including international producers, interactive displays and special panels that are aimed at entertaining fans and players of the industry.
Capital’s pop-culture stage
Delhi has been the catapult of the Comic Con India ride. NODWIN Gaming co-founder and MD, Akshat Rathee, pointed out that NODWIN has found the city to be the ideal location to hold the festival due to its enthusiastic culture of fandom, including comic book cafes and cosplay groups.
What to expect this year
The event will consist of panel sessions, workshops and meet-ups, providing creators with a place to shine. Gamers will be able to expect events like console and PC game competitions, VR games, cosplay competitions, fan exhibitions, and merchandise booths.
Comic Con India has hosted renowned foreign creators, Japanese voice actors and even the producer of Demon Slayer in the past. CEO Shefali Johnson focused on the idea that Delhi Comic Con is not just a convention but a community to which fans, artists, and storytellers convene to share in imagination and creativity.
