Delhi Ashram Molestation Case: A big case has come to light from Vasant Kunj area of Delhi. Yes, 17 girls studying have made serious allegations of molestation and sexual exploitation on Swami Chaitanyanand Saraswati alias Partha Sarathi, the director of the ashram. After his statement, the entire ashram was stirred up. At present, Baba is absconding from his ashram. Let me tell you that all these students were doing management courses in the ashram. He told that dirty acts were being done with him for a long time. After the matter came to light, Shri Shringeri Math and Administrator of his properties P.A. Murali lodged a complaint. On this basis, the police have registered a case of sexual harassment against Swami Chaitanyanand under several sections of BNS.
More than 35 students study in the ashram
According to media reports, more than 35 students study in this ashram, out of which 17 have given a statement to the police that the operator molested them. Police have seized CCTV footage from the ashram and the hard disk has been sent for FSL investigation. Statements of 16 victims have also been lodged in Patiala House Court. The Shringeri Ashram has also dismissed his flourish from Chaitanyanand Saraswati. The ashram said that he was involved in illegal and unfair activities, which were against the interests of the bench. For this reason, all relations have been broken with him and a complaint has also been lodged against him.
Recorded statements of 32 girl students
The students have alleged that Swami Chaitanyanand has done obscene acts with girls doing PGDM courses on EWS scholarship. Till now, statements of 32 girl students have been recorded. Out of these, 17 students clearly stated that the accused Swami used to talk to them in dirty language, send objectionable messages and try to make physical contacts. The students also alleged that some women faculty and admin staff of the institute supported the accused and pressurized them to assume their demands. Apart from this, some wards working in the ashram are also accused of introducing the students to the accused. The statements of all the victims have been recorded in the court under Section 164 CRPC. At present, the accused is absconding since the case was registered.

Trust of safety of students
The Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management-Rest, located in Vasant Kunj, Delhi, works under the Shringeri Peeth and operates a governing council. The chairman of this council is Dr. Krishna Venkatesh. The council has said that there will be no obstruction in students’ education and programs. It has also been assured that the safety and interests of the students will be fully taken care of.
