There is dense smog and fog in the city, due to which visibility has reduced considerably. This is directly affecting the flights and road traffic of Delhi. People in the capital are facing problems on roads and airways amid fog and cold wind as soon as they wake up early in the morning.
Did air quality cancel flights?
Many flights have been canceled at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI Airport) today and dozens of flights have been delayed. At least 100 flights were canceled on Monday, December 22, and about 110 flights are reported canceled even today. Many passengers shared information about flight delays and disruptions on X (formerly Twitter). Airport authorities have advised passengers to check their flight status before boarding a flight.
