Currently, the journey from Delhi to Dehradun stretches for 6–7 hours, especially during weekends and holidays. After the expressway is fully operational, this distance can be covered in just 2 to 2.5 hours.
At present, all eyes are on the trial phase. After successful trials, the process of final inspection and formal inauguration will be completed. The official date is yet to be announced, but the signs are clear—the distance between Delhi and Dehradun is about to become history.
