Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the titanium and super alloy plant of PTC Industries, UP becomes the new strength of self-reliant India.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the world class titanium and super alloy plant of PTC Industries in Lucknow. This project will give a new direction to self-reliance, employment and technological innovation in the defense sector.

Lucknow. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday visited PTC Industries and inaugurated the world class titanium and super alloy material plants established here. On this occasion, he also presented employment certificates to the newly appointed employees.

While wishing the employees, the Defense Minister said that this is a new beginning in your life, which includes hard work, dedication and the spirit of service to the nation. He said that this unit is a big step towards self-reliance in the defense sector.

Rajnath Singh said that the real heroes of this project are the workers and engineers, who are shaping the future of India.

Uttar Pradesh became a symbol of industrial revolution

Rajnath Singh said that this inauguration of PTC Industries is a symbol of industrial revolution in Uttar Pradesh. He said that a few years ago it was difficult to imagine that Uttar Pradesh would become a center of defense and high-tech manufacturing.

Praising Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he said that strong law and order, investor-friendly policies and transparent functioning of the government have increased the confidence of investors.

Rajnath Singh said that now investors are not afraid in Uttar Pradesh. This project will accelerate the development of manufacturing hubs in cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Rewari and Banaras, so that the youth will not have to go out for employment.

New strength in defense and aerospace sector

The Defense Minister said that titanium and super alloy materials are extremely important in defence, aerospace, electronics and medical equipment. Now India will be able to produce these materials and important components itself, which will strengthen technological sovereignty and the self-reliant India mission. Rajnath Singh said that this plant is not just making machines or materials, but is laying the foundation of India’s technological self-reliance.

Employment, training and innovation opportunities

This project will create direct and indirect employment opportunities for thousands of people. Along with this, MSMEs and startups of the region will get technical support and training. Rajnath Singh said that students of IITs, Polytechnics and engineering colleges will get opportunities to learn and work from this project. This will also give the youth experience of modern technology.

India now in the era of “Design, Develop and Deliver in India”

The Defense Minister said that now India is not limited to Make in India only. The country has entered a new era of “Design, Develop and Deliver in India”. He called upon the youth and innovators to be a part of this new defense industry ecosystem and realize the possibilities of the future.

Emphasis on green technology and sustainable development

Rajnath Singh said that in this project, special attention has been given to green technology, energy efficiency and sustainable growth. He said that it is very important to maintain the balance of natural resources with the development of technology. When the government and industry work with this thinking, then India will become the global hub of defense manufacturing.

India’s growing identity at the international level

The Defense Minister said that recently in Australia he got to hear praise for Indian defense and economic development. He said that today the world listens to India seriously and India’s international status has become stronger than ever.

He asked the engineers and employees to maintain this momentum and enthusiasm, so that India can become more technologically powerful.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Lucknow Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Seth and many senior officials were present.

MoU signed between PTC Industries and Bharat Dynamics

During the visit, the Defense Minister and the Chief Minister also saw the manufacturing works of fighter jets and missile parts. An MoU was signed between PTC Industries Limited and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) at the event. Under this, both the institutions will cooperate in the design and manufacturing of propulsion systems, guided bombs and small turbo engines.

Also, two Letters of Technical Acceptance were issued by DRDO-

  • Titanium Casting for AMCA
  • Oil Tank Assembly Titanium Casting for Kaveri Derivative Engine KDE2

These technologies have been developed in collaboration between DMRL and GTRE.

Appointment letters were given to 30 graduate engineer trainees at the ceremony. The Defense Minister and the Chief Minister also conducted a group photoshoot with these engineers.

Uttar Pradesh becomes the center of new flight of self-reliant India

The Defense Minister said that India is now taking a new flight of self-reliance and its center has become the PTC Industries complex of Lucknow node. It is the first private industry in India to set up global-level capacity of titanium and super alloy. The world’s largest titanium remelting and recycling facility is located here on a single campus.

Rajnath Singh said that this is not just an industry but a symbol of India’s self-reliance and technological excellence. India is now not just building, but creating history.
