Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath celebrated Diwali with forest dwellers in Vantangiya village. He said that Ayodhya has now become a symbol of prosperity, good governance and unity. CM also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development schemes worth Rs 49 crore.
Gorakhpur, 20 October. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday described the grand festival of lights of Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, as a symbol of prosperity, good governance and national pride. He said that while the foreign invaders had insulted Ayodhya, now the same Ayodhya is attracting the country and the world in its new and divine form. Making sharp remarks on the previous SP and Congress governments, the CM said that the Congress governments had tried to deny the existence of Lord Shri Ram, while the SP government had committed atrocities on Ram devotees.
CM Yogi celebrated Diwali with forest dwellers in Vantangiya village
Chief Minister Yogi reached Vantangiya village, Jungle Tikonia number three of Gorakhpur on Monday. Here he celebrated Diwali with the forest dwellers and followed this tradition for the ninth consecutive time. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 133 development projects worth Rs 49 crore for various gram panchayats of the district.
While wishing Diwali to the Vantangiya community, the Chief Minister said that when a person is proud of his heritage and grateful to his ancestors, then the path to prosperity and divinity automatically opens. He said that today the identity of Ayodhya is not limited only to Uttar Pradesh, but it has become the pride of entire India.
‘Today’s Ayodhya unites everyone, not divides’- Yogi Adityanath
CM Yogi said that today’s Ayodhya is a symbol of harmony and unity. He told that
- The airport is named after Maharishi Valmiki.
- The restaurant is named after Mata Shabari.
- The major intersection is named after vocal empress Lata Mangeshkar.
- Statues of prominent saints of South India have been installed in Ayodhya.
- Temples of Valmiki ji and Vishwamitra ji have been built in the Shri Ram temple complex.
- There are gates in the names of Shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya and Ramanandacharya.
Ayodhya is becoming the country’s first solar city – Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
The Chief Minister said that Ayodhya is developing as the country’s first solar city. Here electricity is being supplied from the sun’s rays. He said that the Deepotsav of Ayodhya has now become a symbol of prosperity and good governance. The purpose of festivals is to create an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm in the society.
Discipline and dedication are the keys to success: CM Yogi
CM Yogi said that Uttar Pradesh has set new standards of law and order on the strength of discipline and dedication. He said that adopting indigenous products is the hallmark of our prosperity. “Our strength lies in discipline, and our progress lies in indigenous,” he said.
Now Vantangiya village is saturated with schemes- CM Yogi Adityanath
The Chief Minister said that earlier there was lack of basic facilities like roads, electricity, water, schools in Vantangiya villages. But today every person has facilities like permanent house, electricity, Anganwadi center and Ayushman card. Women are now moving towards self-reliance by cultivating vegetables through FPO.
Government’s resolve to bring the deprived into the mainstream: CM Yogi
CM Yogi said that it is the resolve of the double engine government that forest dwellers, tribes and deprived communities should get the benefits of all government schemes. He said that the government is continuously working to bring the Musahar, Tharu, Kol, Sahariya, Chero and Buxa communities out of the poverty line.
Lights should be lit in every house, sweets should reach every person: CM Yogi
The Chief Minister appealed to the people to help the needy around them and not deprive anyone of the joy of Diwali. He said that “Lighting a lamp in every house and distributing sweets to every person is the true Diwali.” The CM urged people to share the happiness of Diwali with the poor and carry forward the “culture of sharing happiness”.
“Other states are learning from CM Yogi”: Dr. Sanjay Nishad
Cabinet Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad said that leaders of other states are also taking inspiration from the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that today in Uttar Pradesh, festivals are celebrated not in an atmosphere of fear, but in an atmosphere of harmony and love.

Benefits of schemes and Diwali gifts to beneficiaries
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honored the beneficiaries of many schemes from the stage. He provided symbolic keys, Ayushman cards, approval letters of Animal Husbandry Department, certificates of Horticulture Department and mini seed kits to the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana.
District received Diwali gift of Rs 49 crore
The Chief Minister gifted development works worth Rs 49 crore to the Gram Panchayats of the district. He inaugurated 128 projects (Rs 32.81 crore) and laid the foundation stone of 5 projects (Rs 16.80 crore).
CM Yogi saw the exhibition, provided food to the children
After the program, CM Yogi visited the exhibitions put up by various departments – Forest, Agriculture, Women Welfare, Education, Health, Khadi and Social Welfare. He performed Annaprashan Sanskar of three children and baby shower of pregnant women. The Chief Minister blessed him by giving him a gift.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the festival of lights by lighting the lamp.
During his visit to the village, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the house of Vantangiya community head Ramganesh and lit the lamp and inaugurated the Deepotsav. He interacted with the villagers, joked with the children and got photographs taken with them. The entire village was filled with enthusiasm and joy due to his simple and affectionate behavior.
