The court has prohibited Abhishek’s identity related things, such as his name, voice and permission without photographs. Justice Tejas Karia has issued strict instructions to several institutions not to misuse the identity of Abhishek through AI, Deepfec, Face Morning or any technology. The court has also clarified that the identity of any person is an important part of his personality rights and his violation will not be acceptable at all.

Abhishek Bachchan recently filed a petition in the court, demanding that some websites be blocked. He requested the court to remove all the online links that violate their personality rights from digital platforms like Google, YouTube. Apart from this, Abhishek has also appealed to the court to issue a ‘John Do’ order through his lawyer Praveen Anand. Under this order, if an unknown person or website violates their personal rights in the future, then action can be taken immediately. This is not the first time a Bollywood actor has approached the High Court to protect his personal and publicity rights. Even before Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, many famous stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff have moved to the Delhi High Court to protect their personality rights.
