Chasing the target, MI openers Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton stitched a 148-run partnership for the first wicket. Suryakumar Yadav (16), Tilak Varma (20) and Hardik Pandya (18*) also made important contributions as MI chased down the 221-run target with six balls to spare.
