Dausa Accident News: A pickup van of devotees returning from Khatushyamji in Dausa, Rajasthan collided with a truck standing. 11 killed, including 7 children in the accident, many injured. The second major accident in three days raised questions on road safety.
Khatushyamji devotees accident: A road accident in Dausa district of Rajasthan early Wednesday shook the entire area. A pickup van filled with devotees returning from the Khatushyamji temple collided with a standing truck, in which 11 people, including 7 children, died on the spot. All the residents of Uttar Pradesh are said to be. More than a dozen people have also been seriously injured in the accident. Nine of the injured have been admitted to the hospital in Jaipur, where they are undergoing treatment.
The horrific scene at 3:30 am
This painful accident occurred near Bapi at around 3:30 am. According to officials, most of the people in the pickup van were residents of Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh. In a sudden collision, the trains flew away and there was a scream on the road.
Relief and rescue work at the scene
Ambulances, police and medical teams reached the spot as soon as the news of the accident was received. The seriously injured devotees were immediately referred to Sawai Man Singh Hospital (SMS) in Jaipur, while other injured are being treated at Dausa District Hospital.

Police is searching for the accident
As soon as the news of Dausa truck-pick collision was received, District Collector Devendra Kumar and Superintendent of Police Sagar Rana immediately reached the spot. The emergency teams worked fast to take the injured to close hospitals. Confirming the accident, District Collector of Dausa, Devendra Kumar Yadav said that the preliminary investigation reported 11 people, but another died during treatment. Superintendent of Police Sagar Rana said that investigation into the cause of the accident is going on.
Second major accident in three days
The accident is the second major road accident in Dausa within three days. Earlier, five people were killed in a car-trailer collision. Constant accidents have raised questions on the functioning of the administration regarding road safety.
