Darshan murder case: Actor Pratham files complaint against Darshan’s fans over alleged threats – Read

‘ Bigg Boss Kannada Season 4’ winner actor Pratham has filed a police complaint alleging he was threatened by fans of Kannada actor Darshan. The incident reportedly occurred in Doddaballapur taluk, Bengaluru.

Verbally abused Pratham
As per a report by India Today, Pratham claimed that a group of people, including individuals going by the names Yashaswini and Bakery Raghu, engaged him when he was returning home after attending a temple puja. According to his complaint, the group verbally abused and threatened him for speaking out against Darshan.

While the complaint has been received by the Bangalore Rural Police, no FIR has been registered yet. Authorities are currently verifying the contents and investigating the individuals named.

Allegations linked to Darshan’s fanbase
This comes shortly after actor-politician Ramya, aka Divya Spandana, complained to the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner about the online abuse that she claimed was caused by several social media pages that were purportedly operated by Darshan’s supporters. According to reports, the pages altered her pictures and threatened to rape and kill her.

 

A section of the actor’s fan base reacted negatively to Ramya’s public criticism of Darshan following a recent controversy. She submitted a list of 43 such social media accounts as part of her official complaint.

Pratham, who has previously acted in films like ‘Kwatle Satisha’, ‘MLA’, ‘Raju Kannada Medium’, and ‘First Night With Devva’.
