In Dantewada, families affected by the recent floods thanked the administration and CM Vishnu Dev Sai for timely rescue and relief. All facilities of ration, clothes, gas cylinders, stoves, food and treatment have been provided in relief camps.

Raipur. The administration was fully active in dealing with the floods in Dantewada and helping the affected people. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai had given necessary instructions to the collectors of the flood affected districts by video conferencing from South Korea even during the foreign tour.

Today, when Chief Minister reached Bangi Tikrapara in Dantewada, the flood -affected families thanked the administration for timely rescue and relief. People said that all families are safe from the government’s sensitive initiative and all facilities like living, food and treatment are being available in relief camps.

Flood affected Gupta Kashyap, Shalini Sharma, Savita Patre and Lata Sagar told the Chief Minister that they had no problem in the camp. Ration, utensils, clothes, gas cylinders and stove have been made available. Those whose houses have collapsed, they have also received assistance. Now they will remain in the camp till they become homes. The affected people said that on the appeal of the administration at the time of flood, all the people had moved to safe places safely and after the water came down, they were accommodated in the Chudi Tikrapara hostel. Other affected also appreciated the relief works of the government and the administration and thanked CM Vishnu Dev Sai.

When the Chief Minister reached the house of Somdi Sodhi, a resident of Bangi Tikrapara, she became emotional. He said that his entire house was drowned by floods. A day before the flood, she was hospitalized for treatment and her daughters were also there, due to which her life was saved. On returning from the hospital on Friday, he noticed that all the household items got damaged in the water. But the administration has provided them ration, utensils, clothes, gas cylinders and stove. Breakfast, food and treatment facilities are also available in the relief camp. Somdi thanked the Chief Minister for the help of the government in this difficult time.

Flood affected Suresh Baghel said- The entire family was in the house on the flood day, but on the information of the administration, he went to the safe place and reached the relief camp the next day and returned home last Friday. The administration gave them all the important things like ration, utensils, gas cylinders, stoves, blankets, sheets and clothes, which has given him a lot of relief to him and his family.
