Dant Kanti Gandush Oil Pulling is a lost tradition of Ayurveda: Swami Ramdev says as he unveils Patanjali’s new product

New Delhi: On the occasion of unveiling of Patanjali’s new product Dant Kanti Gandush Oil Pulling, Swami Ramdev said that this effort is a new milestone in the field of Yoga and Ayurveda. Patanjali is offering not only treatment but also the harmony of culture, tradition and science to the world. He said that nowadays people have forgotten how to operate their body and how to co-operate with it.

He pointed out that Patanjali is working to teach this to the masses through Yoga and Ayurveda. This dental product confirms that the ancient Sanatan knowledge of India is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago.

The lost tradition of Ayurveda

Dant Kanti Gandush Oil Pulling was unveiled by Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev, Acharya Balkrishna, Indian Dental Association, Uttarakhand Branch President Dr Rajiv Bansal, Secretary Dr Vishwajit Walia, and Treasurer Dr Vaibhav Pahwa. This product has been dubbed as a historic effort to restore the lost daily tradition of Ayurveda.

On this occasion, Acharya Balkrishna said that this product is the result of three years of tireless efforts and dedication of the scientists of our Patanjali Research Institute. Dant Kanti Gandush Oil Pulling is not just a daily activity, it is a medical science, which is the need of the hour. He underlined that in the original texts of Ayurveda like Charak Samhita and Sushruta Samhita, Gandush has been described as a major process for oral health.

What is mixed in Dant Kanti Gandush?

He said that it contains tumburu oil, which strengthens teeth and gums. Clove oil, which provides relief from toothache. Peppermint oil, which removes bad breath. Eucalyptus oil, which is full of anti-bacterial properties and prevents the growth of bacteria. Tulsi oil, being bactericidal, protects teeth from decay and infection.

Indian Dental Association, Uttarakhand branch secretary Dr Vishwajit Walia said that Dant Kanti Gandush Oil Pulling is a research and evidence-based Ayurvedic medicine which will be very helpful in oral pyorrhea and various dental diseases. He praised the research being done by Patanjali Research Foundation.
