God of Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna and blockbuster director Gopichand Malineni’s highly anticipated mass action entertainer Dada is progressing at a brisk pace. The film has already generated considerable buzz following the tremendous response to the “Entry Of An Era” glimpse and the subsequent title announcement video.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the film showcases Balakrishna in a rugged, stylish and powerful new avatar. His intense look and mass presentation have become major talking points among fans and movie lovers.
The latest update is that Dada has resumed shooting in Mysore today. Balakrishna, who had been away from the sets after suffering an injury, has now recovered and joined the team for the film’s crucial and lengthy schedule.
The ongoing schedule is primarily focused on the film’s talkie portions, with Balakrishna and several prominent actors participating in the shoot. The makers are filming key sequences during this schedule, making it an important phase in the production.
Dada marks the reunion of Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni after their successful collaboration on Veera Simha Reddy. This time, the director is aiming to deliver a stylish commercial action spectacle, with Balakrishna presented in a high-impact mass avatar. The title glimpse introduced him as “The King Of Chaos,” further raising expectations around his character.
Manoj Manchu and Kajal Aggarwal are playing important roles in the movie, adding further strength to the cast.
The technical team includes cinematographer Arvind S Kashyap, music composer S Thaman, production designer AS Prakash and editor Navin Nooli. Sai Madhav Burra has penned the dialogues, while action choreography is being handled by Ram Lakshman, Ravi Varma and Vvenkat.
With shooting now back on track and the makers focusing on key portions, expectations are steadily increasing for Dada. The film is slated for a grand theatrical release on December 24, making it one of the major Christmas attractions this year.
