Daayra: Meghna Gulzar’s mystery thriller sparks curiosity over the true story behind it; Read now

has built a reputation for bringing compelling real-life stories to the big screen. While the makers have confirmed that the story is inspired by true events, they have remained tight-lipped about the actual incident or events behind the film. The recently unveiled character posters, however, have given audiences a few elements to speculate about.

Microphones, an open grass field and trucks are among the details spotted in the posters, but their connection to the larger story remains unclear. The film features two police officers who seemingly find themselves on opposite sides, further adding to the intrigue around the narrative.
