NTA has declared the result of CUET UG 2025 exam. This time more than 13 lakh students had registered to join the exam. Students can check their scorecards by visiting the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.

According to the CUET UG 2025 Information Bulletin released by the National Examination Agency, the maximum marks for the exam are 250. However, whether students are students of Science, Commerce or Arts, the total marks are completely dependent on the number of selected subjects while filling the CUET UG application form. This year, students were allowed to select only maximum 5 subjects, which means that the total maximum possible digit for CUET is 1250.
Cuet UG Result 2025: How many numbers will be passed in CUET UG exam?
The potential passing number is between 200 and 240. General category passing marks is 50 percent, 45 percent for SC, SST and Divyang. The student will be given 5 numbers for each correct answer. According to media reports, if a student gets a number between 780 and 800, then it is considered a good score. At the same time, 1 number will be deducted for each wrong answer. However, there is no prescribed concept of passing or failing in the exam. A merit list is made on the basis of percentile. Every university issues its cut off for admission.
Cuet UG 2025: What is the option for students with low numbers?
Students whose CUET UG has less numbers. They do not have to worry about admission. There are many options for such students. Students can also apply admission in state universities, private universities, deemed universities and some central universities. Apart from this, you can also apply for admission in open counseling and spot rounds of various central universities including DU.
Students can enroll without CUET UG score from many universities of UP including Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, and Jannayak Chandrashekhar University, Ballia.
